Custom Shower Remodels in DFW — Walk-In, Frameless, and Built to Last
Full-tile and full-slab custom showers across Southlake, Grapevine, Fort Worth, Dallas, and the rest of DFW. Curbless walk-ins, frameless glass, body sprays, steam, and bench seating — waterproofed and built right.
The part of the bathroom that fails first when it's built wrong.
A shower is the most punishing assembly in a house — water, heat, soap, movement, and ten years of daily use. Done right, it looks the same on year ten as on day one. Done wrong, you're looking at cracked grout, leaking pans, and a tear-out. Every Regent shower gets proper manufacturer-spec waterproofing, a real slope to the drain, blocking for benches and grab bars, and finish work that holds up.
Curbless walk-in showers
Flush-to-floor entries with linear drains, proper slope, and waterproofed thresholds — accessible and modern.
Frameless glass enclosures
Templated after tile is set, low-iron glass with concealed hardware. No vinyl, no leaks, no bowed panels.
Full-slab stone walls
Bookmatched porcelain or natural stone slabs from floor to ceiling — fewer grout lines, more drama, easier to clean.
Niches, benches & body sprays
Recessed niches sized to your bottles, integrated bench seating, body sprays, and hand-held wands on a dedicated valve.
Tub-to-shower conversions
Remove the unused tub and gain a real walk-in shower. We rework the drain, framing, and waterproofing — not a cover-up.
Steam showers
Steam generators, sealed enclosures, sloped ceilings, and proper ventilation — designed for North Texas humidity.
Who this is for.
Homeowners who want one room in the house that feels like the hotel — and who don't want to find out three years in that the pan was never waterproofed correctly. Most of our shower clients are also doing some part of the surrounding bathroom; many are converting the unused tub in the primary into a proper walk-in.
Common pain points we fix.
Cramped builder-grade enclosures, leaking pans, cracked grout, dated brass frames, and that weird step-in tub no one ever uses. We tear out, rebuild with real waterproofing and slope, and finish with the tile and glass spec that matches the rest of the home.

FAQ
Custom shower questions, answered.
What drives the cost of a custom shower remodel in DFW?
Scope drives it: size, tile selection, glass spec (frameless vs. semi-frameless), whether plumbing or framing moves, full-slab porcelain walls, body sprays or steam, and the level of waterproofing detail. We give a real line-item budget after the walkthrough rather than a placeholder square-foot number.
How long does a shower remodel take?
A standalone custom shower typically runs 3–5 weeks once materials are on site. Frameless glass and stone slab fabrication are the most common timeline drivers — glass templates after tile is set and runs 2–3 weeks on its own.
Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
Yes — this is one of our most-requested bathroom changes. We rework the drain, frame in any required pony walls or benches, re-waterproof the area, and tile to match the rest of the bath. Curbless walk-ins are possible in many homes; we confirm slab and drain conditions during the walkthrough.
What's the difference between a tile shower and a prefab shower?
A prefab unit is a molded acrylic or fiberglass insert installed in a day. A tile shower is built from scratch — waterproofing, slope to drain, tile or stone on every surface, niches, benches, and frameless glass. Prefabs are cheaper and faster; custom tile lasts longer, looks better, and is what we build.
Do you handle plumbing, waterproofing, and glass?
Yes. Waterproofing is done to manufacturer spec (Schluter, RedGard, or similar) before any tile goes down, slope is built into the pan, and frameless glass is templated and installed by our long-term DFW partners. One team is accountable for the whole shower — not three separate vendors.
Where in DFW do you build custom showers?
Across the metroplex — Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, Fort Worth, Dallas, Westlake, North Richland Hills, and the surrounding North Texas suburbs.
