Office Finish-Outs & Commercial Buildouts in Dallas, TX

Dallas commercial general contractor delivering office finish-outs, retail and restaurant buildouts, healthcare TI, and high-end home remodels — with one team accountable from design through opening day.

Dallas businesses come to Regent Design Build for office finish-outs and tenant improvements that open on time. We handle spec-suite finish-outs and full-floor first-generation buildouts across Uptown, the Design District, Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts, and the Dallas North Tollway corridor — coordinating with City of Dallas plan review, multi-tenant landlords, and architects of record so the schedule stays honest. Most Dallas office finish-outs we deliver run 8–14 weeks from permit issuance to certificate of occupancy.

On the retail and restaurant side, we build storefronts, dining rooms, and back-of-house with grease, hood, and Dallas County health department coordination handled in-house. Healthcare clients — dental, med-spa, and clinic — get medical-grade MEP, finish, and code compliance from a GC that knows the inspectors.

On the residential side, Dallas neighborhoods each have their own personality and our work reflects that. Tudor restorations in Lakewood, contemporary updates in Preston Hollow, primary-suite additions in Lake Highlands, and full kitchen renovations across the M Streets — we tailor every project to the home and the family living in it.

The constant across every Dallas project: one team handling design and construction, one superintendent from kickoff to keys, transparent line-item budgets, and clean job sites.

Dallas remodeling FAQ

How long does an office finish-out in Dallas take?
Most Dallas office finish-outs run 8–14 weeks from permit issuance to certificate of occupancy. Spec-suite finish-outs in existing buildings land on the faster end; full-floor first-generation buildouts with extensive MEP work take longer. We provide a written schedule with milestone dates at contract signing and update it weekly.
Do you pull City of Dallas permits and handle plan review?
Yes. We pull all required City of Dallas permits — building, MEP, fire, and Dallas County health permits for restaurant and medical buildouts — and coordinate directly with plan reviewers and inspectors. We own the permitting timeline so you don't have to chase it.
Can you work in occupied Dallas office buildings without disrupting other tenants?
Yes. Most of our Dallas tenant improvement work is in occupied buildings. We coordinate after-hours and weekend work for demolition, concrete cutting, and high-noise activity, build dust barriers, and stage deliveries through service entrances so neighboring tenants typically don't notice we're on site.
Do you handle tenant buildouts in Uptown or the Design District?
Yes — we've completed office, retail, and restaurant buildouts across central Dallas (Uptown, Design District, Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts) and coordinate with multi-tenant landlords, building management, and architects of record on every project.
Do you work in historic Dallas neighborhoods on the residential side?
Yes — we've done sensitive remodels in Lakewood, the M Streets, and around Swiss Avenue. We understand which Dallas historic overlay districts require additional review and how to design within those guidelines.
How long does a Dallas whole-home remodel take?
Most run 5–10 months depending on scope. We give you a realistic schedule up front — including long-lead items like windows and custom cabinetry — so you can plan around it.
Do you offer design services or only construction?
Both. Design and construction are under one roof at Regent. You don't have to hire a separate architect, designer, and GC and translate between them — we handle the whole arc from feasibility through closeout.
